There is no better way to experience the snow-covered splendor and beauty of St. Moritz than from the comfort of a horse-drawn carriage. Directly from the hotel entrance, a horse carriage can be arranged to take the guests along with lake St. Moritz towards the restaurant at the mountain lake Lej da Staz. It is situated in a nature preservation area where cars are not allowed to go to (except one taxi company). The restaurant beside the frozen lake offers a casual, alpine atmosphere and traditional Swiss food. During the summer, you can go hiking, rafting, and enjoy various events going on inside the hotel with live music. The hotel’s concierges are well-equipped to recommend tailor-made activities to guests.

Guest ride Olympia Bob Run - Safely nestled between pilot and brakeman you`ll experience fantastic, adrenalin-pumping rides on the 1722 m long natural ice track, which is at the same time the largest ice sculpture in the world. In 75 seconds you will thunder to the finish in the 4 men bob at speeds of up to 135 km/h. It is a thrilling experience. The price is CHF 269 per person and the minimum age is 16 years. Link to websiteWinter hiking Discover the winter wonderland on frozen lakes, trails with views, trails in the wide valley and pushchair-friendly paths. On a stroll across the frozen Engadin lakes, you really appreciate the great expanse of the valley and especially at sunset, the magical light in the Engadin. The flat winter walking paths from Maloja to Silvaplana and on to St. Moritz are perfect for families - depending on snow conditions, with pushchairs, too. For a particularly picturesque winter walk, follow the path from Sils into the romantic Val Fex, or from Maloja through the snow-blanketed forest to the frozen Lake Cavloccio.
Val Roseg Valley - From the train station Pontresina (about 10 minutes by car or taxi from the hotel) the horse carriages start going into Val Rosegg. After ca. one hour with marvellous views to the glacier, you reach the restaurant "Roseg Gletscher", which serves Swiss style food. To return from the restaurant you can either walk or take again a horse carriage.
Snowshoeing - With snowshoes on your feet, you are free to explore the pristine forests and snow-blanketed plateaus – the ideal alternative for all those seeking peace and quiet off the beaten track.
Sleddog Arriving in Arnoga - between Bormio and Livignio and about 75 km from St. Moritz, search for the little chapel, near the hotel "Li Arnoga" and you will find the Italian Husky Village. Ride your team of Huskies under the supervision of skilled instructors.
Climbing and bouldering - Enjoy climbing and bouldering at Serlas Park, an outstanding facility characterised by imaginative use of wood and glass, and offering free views of the inspiring mountain landscape. Approximately 450 sq m of climbing wall and about 120 sq m of bouldering provide training and recreation for climbers of all levels. If you do not have your own climbing equipment with you, you can hire everything you need there.
Ludains Ice Arena - The ice arena offers guests open-air ice skating on the artificial ice rink and is situated 10 to 15 minutes walking distance from the hotel. During the winter months, an additional specially prepared natural ice rink is also open for ice skating. Equipment can be hired.
